We are currently seeking a full-time Coordinator (38 hours per week) to lead our YMCA Wavell Heights Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.
About the Role
As the OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the service and the leadership of a team of Educators. You’ll be supported by a dedicated management team including Senior and Area Coordinators, your Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver quality programs for children
- Manage daily service operations
- Coordinate staffing and rosters
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Oversee administration and reporting requirements
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the school community
About You
- Completed (or working towards) a Diploma of Children’s Services or relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching
- Experience in program planning and a passion for quality childcare
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
