The Children’s Services Systems & Administration Manager plays a key leadership role in overseeing the effective operation of business systems, administrative processes, and financial functions that support YMCA Children’s Services. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant administrative support through the management of systems, data, and accounts, and provides guidance to a multidisciplinary team responsible for systems administration, financial processing, and service support.
The role is accountable for:
- The maintenance and optimisation of core business systems
- Successful implementation of new technologies
- The provision of data analytics to inform decision making
- Project planning and execution for system improvements and ensures that all processes comply with relevant legislation, including Family Assistance Law and Child Care Subsidy requirements
About you:
- Minimum three years experience as an administrator in a reasonably complex role in a medium to large organisation
- A relevant qualification in Business at a Certificate level
- Ability to perform a range of administrative duties, which include data and word processing, filing, photocopying and reception with the ability to prioritise work and meet set deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated sound competence in the use of computers and application software packages including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in children’s services and/or a not-for-profit environment would be advantageous
- Demonstrated experience working in Accounts doing Debtors and Creditors Reconciliations
- Knowledge of relevant legislation regarding the Administration of Family Assistance Law
- Knowledge of and compliance with National Quality Framework and commitment to high quality customer service
