YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland.

 

We are the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now seeking an OSHC Administrator on a permanent full time basis.

This role will provide administration support to the Y OSHC Services located at Stafford; ensuring the completion of ongoing compliance training are monitored to support the establishment of a high-quality workforce to deliver high quality care and services to the children and families we serve.

From time to time you will also provide support to the other Children’s Services. 

 

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain currency and access for all employee and key stakeholders to all Children’s Services Policies
  • General administration, electronic filing and archiving ensuring confidentiality and privacy of files at all times are handled in accordance to company policy, procedures and applicable legislation.
  • Perform general office reception and telephone duties as required in a professional manner
  • Maintain the work environment so as to minimise risk to both customers and employees.
  • Comply with all Policies and procedures

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Previous Administration experience in a similar setting
  • Possess, or be willing to obtain, a positive notice Blue Card
  • Ability to perform a range of administrative duties with the ability to prioritise work and meet set deadlines
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • A positive and open-minded attitude, with the willingness to learn and grown in a busy and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in children’s services and/or a not-for-profit environment would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of and compliance with National Quality Framework would be an advantage
