About the Role
As a Community of Practice Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our services to deliver high-quality educational programs. You’ll provide guidance, mentoring, and tools to help educators create inclusive, child-centered environments that support holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe, assess, and provide tailored training to educators.
- Develop and implement educational procedures and documentation.
- Mentor educators in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate, and inclusive programs.
- Support services in community engagement and building strong local partnerships.
- Assist in designing and implementing wellbeing initiatives for children, families, and staff.
- Facilitate reflective practice sessions to guide the development and review of Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs).
- Support the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the My Time, Our Place learning framework for school-aged children.
- Lead preparation and drive continuous improvement efforts related to the Assessment and Rating process.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about quality improvement in children’s services and has the ability to inspire others through strong leadership and mentorship.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- A tertiary qualification in Community Services, Early Childhood Education, Teaching, Disability, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading inclusion and diversity initiatives within childcare or children's services.
- Strong understanding of applicable legislation, Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the National Quality Framework.
- Proven leadership and team engagement capabilities.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and/or high or complex needs.
