YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provides fun, stimulating and safe care for primary and secondary school children before and after school. At OSHC, children have the opportunity to participate in cooking, sport, music, art, dance and so much more.
We are currently recruiting for OSHC Educators on a casual basis to join our YMCA Rochedale South Outside School Hours Care service.
About the service
YMCA Rochedale South Outside School Hours Care is located on Yuggera land in the Performing Arts Centre of the school. Our service provides a range of indoor and outdoor spaces where our educators maintain a safe, fun and interactive environment for all children to feel supported to play, learn and grow.
We are licensed for 130 children and offer Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care between the hours of 6:30am and 6pm. We also offer a pre-kindy program for the children who attend C&K located on Wendron Street.
YMCA works within the seven quality areas set by the National Quality Framework to consistently provide a high-quality standard of care. Our educators have a range of skills, knowledge and experience in the areas of working with children, sport, art, nature and more. Each member brings a different trait to the team which creates a fun and nurturing environment for all children to feel safe and supported. The core quality the whole team shares is the enthusiasm to get involved in every aspect of OSHC and have fun with the children.
