Y Schools Queensland Bundaberg Campus are recruiting a Teacher on a Permanent Part-Time (0.6FTE) basis to join our team based in Bundaberg

What will my time look like?
- Delivering academic and wellbeing programs to students.
- Support the delivery of vocational training programs offered to students; and
- Support the Head of Campus/School in the operation of the campus to achieve educational, wellbeing and vocational objectives.
- Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment which is learner focused, safe, supportive and aligned to the curriculum.
- Collaborate with like-minded peers to plan, write and deliver structured lessons that differentiate and personalise the learning for each student.
- Assess and provide meaningful and supportive feedback and report on student learning.
- Supporting young people with diverse learning and support needs, including disabilities, behavioural challenges, ASD, ADHD/ADD, and mental health needs
- Support our young people to know success!
Am I a good match?
- Hold a relevant University degree, current Queensland College of Teachers Registration,
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications
- Apply appropriate knowledge to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs to meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of students who are at risk of disengaging from education
- Implement effective, inclusive teaching practices, including the use of learning technologies and assessment, to create a supportive environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Communicate effectively with students using strong interpersonal skills and implement behaviour management strategies that support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
