About the team

YMCA operate two camp locations only 35 minutes north of Brisbane. The camps are set in beautiful bushland settings providing guests the opportunity to escape and recharge, or to challenge themselves through a range of adventure activities on land, in water, or up in the air. 

YMCA Camp Warrawee are seeking a passionate Cleaner on a Casual Basis to join our team located in Joyner, QLD.

About the role

We are passionate about creating a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for students to learn and play. As we expand and grow with some major upgrades to our camp, we're looking for a additional Cleaner to join our team to help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout each Client's camp experience.

What will my time look like?

• Clean public areas, cabins and amenities following camp guidelines
• Follow cleaning procedures and applicable Safety Data Sheets
• Advise Guest Services Coordinator when stocks of cleaning supplies are required
• Ensure that a friendly and professional service is delivered
• Maintain the work environment to minimise risk to both customers and staff

Am I a good match?

• Experience cleaning accommodation facilities or similar facilities
• Have a sound knowledge of cleaning responsibilities
• Hold a First Aid and current CPR qualification, or willingness to obtain them
• Hold or be willing to obtain, a positive notice Blue Card
