Y Queensland People and Culture Team are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team on a 12-month Full-Time, Fixed Term contract. This role will be located at our Corporate Office in Fortitude Valley, QLD.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce of a values‑driven organisation. Partnering closely with a broad range of stakeholders, you will deliver best‑practice recruitment solutions that attract, engage and secure high‑quality talent across a diverse portfolio.
Acting as an advisor to hiring managers, you will provide candidate market insights and industry trends to support informed hiring decisions and strengthen the organisation’s position in the employment market. You will have the autonomy to manage end‑to‑end recruitment activities, while also contributing to broader talent initiatives that enhance the candidate experience, build employer brand and support long‑term workforce planning.
This role offers the opportunity to influence how recruitment is delivered, build strong internal partnerships, and make a meaningful contribution to organisational success.
What will my time look like?
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment activities across a diverse portfolio, including role briefings, attraction, shortlisting, interviews, offers and onboarding support.
- Partner with hiring managers to provide trusted, practical recruitment advice, including candidate market insights, role design and sourcing strategies.
- Develop and implement targeted attraction strategies using advertising, direct sourcing, talent pooling and proactive market engagement.
- Deliver a positive, inclusive and professional candidate experience through timely communication and values‑aligned recruitment practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruitment partners to achieve timely and quality hiring outcomes.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools and practices.
- Support workforce planning and talent initiatives by providing data, insights and recommendations aligned to organisational needs.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant legislation, policies and governance requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
Am I a good match?

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an agency or internal recruitment role with experience in medium to large organisation
- Ability to develop and deliver targeted recruitment and retention strategies
- Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and standard of work
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver accurate, high‑quality work.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- High standards of professionalism and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a broader team environment
