Y Queensland Marketing Team are recruiting for a Social Media and Content Coordinator on a Permanent Full-Time basis to join our team located in Fortitude Valley.

 

About the role

As a Social Media and Content Coordinator, you will support the delivery of Y Queensland’s digital marketing and communications activity by creating engaging content, managing social media channels and assisting with digital campaigns across all service areas. The role helps bring the Y’s stories to life, strengthens brand visibility and provides practical digital support to teams across the organisation.

 

What will my time look like?

 

  • Develop, implement and maintain effective social media and digital content strategies across all channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) to grow brand visibility and drive organic lead generation
  • Plan, create, edit and publish high-quality content across social media platforms, websites, blogs, video and PR channels
  • Deliver effective digital communications tailored to diverse audiences including members, families, staff, volunteers, government, partners and the broader community
  • Develop high-quality digital marketing resources to support local promotion of programs, services and facilities
  • Identify and leverage relevant assets and resources from other Y Queensland service areas to strengthen local campaigns
  • Lead the development of appropriate dashboards, reports and metrics to measure digital marketing performance and campaign effectiveness

 

Am I a good match

 

 

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing an effective social media strategy and content marketing campaigns for audience engagement and growth
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or related discipline
  • Proven ability to create compelling content and visual campaigns using social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • A storyteller by nature and able to deliver innovative content with skills in copywriting, photography and videography including post-production photo and video editing
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with various software suites, photo and video editing applications and scheduling platforms including WordPress, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, Canva, Indesign, Photoshop and Hootsuite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess, or be willing to obtain, a Police Check Certificate,
  • Achievement of Y Queensland’s Safeguarding Children Training Certificate and complete annual refresher training
