Y Queensland Marketing Team are recruiting for a Senior Graphic Designer on a Fixed-Term, Part-Time (6-month contract, 3 days a week) basis to join our team located in Fortitude Valley.
About the role
As a Senior Graphic Designer with Y Queensland, you will be responsible for leading the creative design and visual identity of Y Queensland’s marketing, communications and partnership initiatives. Working within the Marketing and Communications team, you will deliver high-quality, brand-aligned creative across digital and print channels to strengthen the Y Queensland’s profile, drive service participation, and support key campaigns.
What will my time look like?
- Lead the creative direction and design development for key marketing and communications campaigns across Y Queensland
- Design and produce creative assets for digital and print channels, including campaign materials, advertising, social media content, signage, brochures, and reports
- Develop digital and motion assets to enhance campaign storytelling and engagement across web, social, and video channels
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand audience needs and translate them into creative outputs
- Track and report on design project progress, timelines, and deliverables
Am I a good match
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in professional graphic design, ideally in an in-house or agency environment
- Demonstrated experience in leading creative projects from concept through to delivery
- Experience producing creative for multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, social, OOH)
- Proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Experience developing brand systems, templates, and guidelines.
- Understanding of web design principles, accessibility, and UX basics
- Experience managing print production and external suppliers
