The Y Queensland stands together with all people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or belief.
With a mission to empower individuals and strengthen communities in Queensland, we have a long history of driving diverse community-focused programs and services since 1864. Today, we are a vibrant, active organisation, seeking to make a positive difference by providing each and every person with the opportunity to be healthy, happy and connected. In Brisbane and Queensland, we provide a wide range of services tailored to the needs of the communities we serve. These services include, but are not limited to, youth programs, child care & early education, fitness & recreation, outdoor education & camping, vocational education & accredited training.
The services we provide in turn help fund the benevolent arm of our organisation (which officially operates as Y-Care (South East Queensland) Inc). This means that your employment at the Y helps to support key community initiatives such as our Schools' Breakfast Program, Cancer Survivor Program, youth mentoring services and more.
We are now seeking an Implementation Advisor to support the delivery of new software to our Special Assistance Schools (SAS). This project will see the implementation of a School Information System (SIS) and a Learning Management System (LMS). Successful applicants to this role will utilise prior experience of SIS/LMS implementations in Australian SAS's to provide informed advice on appropriate implementation approaches, system configurations, and adoption strategies for the incoming software. Incumbents to this position will also play an active role in assisting the Y's internal Applications Team and software vendors at all stages of system rollout. A link to the full position description for this role is available here.
Reporting to the Head of Information Systems, this role will be based at our office in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley, and will operate on a full-time basis, under a 12 month fixed-term contract.
