Y Schools Queensland are recruiting an Inclusion Advisor on a Permanent Full-Time basis to join our team based in Fortitude Valley.
As the Inclusion Advisor with the Y Schools Queensland, you will be responsible for operational and capability-building role that works under the leadership of the Head of Inclusion to implement high-quality inclusive practice across a designated group of Y Schools Queensland campuses
What will my time look like?
- Coordinate support campus level implementation of inclusive education processes designed by the Head of Inclusion
- Support development and maintenance of ILPs/ICPs and personalised adjustments
- Embed and reinforce professional learning developed by the Head of Inclusion through on-the-ground coaching and modelling
- Assist campus teams to implement NCCD processes and ensure documentation requirements are understood and enacted
- Participate in case management conversations as part of campus processes
- Support engagement of external professionals as directed by campus leadership
Am I a good match?
- Experience implementing inclusive education practices and supporting NCCD processes
- Full and current QCT registration (or eligibility)
- Demonstrated impact in supporting staff to deliver differentiation and adjustments
- Experience applying evidence and data to improve student access and participation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including trauma-aware approaches
- Ability to build capability through modelling and coaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and alignment with YMCA values
