About the role:

 

We are now seeking an ICT Reporting and Projects Officer on a Permanent, Full-Time Basis to join our IT team based at our office in Fortitude Valley.

Reporting to the Head of Information Systems and Analytics, this position will undertake a central role in developing and delivering workforce reporting, while supporting the broader information systems team with ongoing projects relating to the implementation, optimisation and support of business software.


Responsibilities of this role include:

 

  • The compilation and delivery of weekly and monthly reporting to support senior and executive decision making
  • Utilising Power BI to convert and automate existing excel based reporting
  • Working with business leaders to develop new and existing workforce reporting to better inform strategic and operational objectives
  • Working alongside the applications team to service and support the organisations software solutions
  • Working in project teams to support the scoping, design, build, user acceptance testing, systems integration testing and roll out of new and exciting software projects.


Applicants for this role would ideally have:

 

  • Moderate to advanced skills in the use of Power BI, including the ability to design and build reporting models, graphs and dashboards.
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft excel
  • Excellent attention to detail with a desire to work across a range of software projects
  • A proactive, solution focused approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current National Police Check, or the willingness to obtain one as well as an International Police Check (if required)
