An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to provide HR advice at YMCA. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Come join our team in this permanent full time role. Working in a collaborative and supportive environment we can offer a varied and interesting position within an established NFP organisation that values your ideas and input. As a HR Advisor with the YMCA, you will skilled at providing advice and support across the full spectrum of HR responsibilities including;

  • Driving engagement initiatives and partnering with your own portfolio
  • Provide accurate HR advice to Group Managers and Line Managers in line with policies and procedures and applicable industrial instruments; 
  • Case management, workplace investigations and performance management processes and relevant communication;
  • Operational and strategic HR initiatives and projects;


ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation, procedural fairness and natural justice
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines and ensure accuracy;
  • Exposure to interpreting awards and relevant legislation;
  • Currently possess, or be willing to obtain a positive notice Blue Card.
  • Experience with Payroll and HRIS, preferably Success Factors and TimeTarget desirable.
