Y Schools Queensland are recruiting a Digital Learning Coach on a 12-month Full-Time, Fixed Term contract basis to join our team.
Join our team as a passionate Digital Learning Coach to play a key role in shaping our Online School (pending registration approval) and leading the adoption of new digital systems across our campuses. This is a system‑facing, capability‑building role that works closely with teachers, leaders, and support staff to build confidence, consistency, and best practice in digital teaching and learning.
What will my time look like?
- Support the design, development, and implementation of the Y Schools Queensland Online School
- Lead the rollout and adoption of a new Student Management System (SMS) and Learning Management System (LMS) across campuses
- Coach, model, and build staff capability in digital pedagogy, online and blended learning
- Develop practical resources, guides, and exemplars to support consistent system use
- Work collaboratively with Teaching & Learning, Wellbeing, Inclusion, and Pathways teams
- Support curriculum documentation, moderation, assessment, and reporting processes to ensure compliance and quality
Am I a good match?
- Hold a relevant University degree, and current Queensland College of Teachers Registration
- Hold a Positive Notice Blue Card, or be willing to obtain
- First Aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain.
- Hold a Valid National Police Check within the last 6 months, or willingness to obtain
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications
- Strong experience in digital pedagogy and online or blended learning
- Confidence coaching and supporting staff with varying levels of digital capability
- A collaborative, strengths‑based approach to professional learning
- Experience working within complex or alternative education settings (highly regarded)
