About the role
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a passionate, purpose-driven Coordinator to join our YMCA Churchill Outside School Hours Care service on a full time basis.

 

As the Coordinator, you will lead a dedicated team of educators, create engaging programs for children, and play a key role in building inclusive, vibrant communities.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service
  • Develop fun, child-led programs
  • Lead and support a team of passionate educators
  • Ensure high standards in compliance, administration, and safety
  • Build strong connections with families, schools and the local community
  • Create a space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow

 

What you’ll bring

  • A Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards)
  • Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and service operations
  • Strong communication, leadership and time-management skills
  • A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
  • Familiarity with the National Quality Framework
