The George Williams Hotel is a leading 4 star hotel perfectly located in the heart of Brisbane's CBD. The position offers casual Reception shifts and has requirements to work across a 24 hour / seven day roster. 


The position would be working minimum 3 days a week.  


The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing guests with professional and attentive service
  • ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Maximising revenue and occupancy through sale of accommodation rooms
  • Complete reservation, check in and check out procedures for hotel guests 
  • Undertaking credit card, cash handling and invoicing transactions;
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts;
  • Establish relationships with clients to ensure return patronage; 
  • Responsible for maintaining security and OH&S requirements


The successful candidate must possess the following attributes and experience:

  • Availability to work nights with seven day availability
  • Previous experience within the hospitality industry, including front office, reservations
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills including an ability to handle in a professional manner queries, complaints and any difficult situations which may arise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with impeccable attention to detail; Ability to work autonomously
  • Willingness to undergo a Police Criminal History Check
