YMCA is Queensland's premier provider of sport and recreation; we are now seeking a passionate and dynamic Gymnastics Coordinator to join the team at our state-of-the-art Bowen Hills facility.

THE ROLE:
- Coordinate and oversee our comprehensive gymnastics program, as well as lead either our recreational or competitive programs
- Lead the way as a role model and empower your gymnasts and staff through your exceptional, hands-on coaching approach. Let your passion and expertise inspire them to reach new heights
- Manage recruitment processes with the help of our internal recruitment team to build your dream team
- Engage in community outreach initiatives to attract new business and raise awareness of the incredible opportunities we offer
- Foster a positive gymnastics experience for our members, staff and class participants, creating an atmosphere where everyone can thrive
- Lead trainings to ensure our staff maintains and exceeds The Y Gymnastics’ high standards
- Collaborate with team leaders to establish efficient rotation schedules and ensure up-to-date lesson plans in accordance with The YMCA syllabus
- Uphold safety standards, adhering to YMCA WH&S policies and practices
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Hold an intermediate or above coaching qualification (advanced is desirable)
- Current Technical Membership with Gymnastics Queensland
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role, with staff supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in all aspects of gymnastics
- Passion for the gymnastics industry and the ability to connect with customers
- Energetic self-starter with a positive attitude
- Ability to excel both autonomously and as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service experiences
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificates, or willingness to obtain them
- Possession or willingness to obtain a Blue Card in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 prior to commencing
