About the Role

We are currently seeking a Diploma qualified Group Leader to join our YMCA Acacia Ridge Early Education Centre on a casual basis. As a Group Leader, you will support Educators and be responsible for creating programs that are engaging, meaningful and fun for the children.

What you’ll do

• Under guidance and instruction of the Centre Director, develop, plan and implement quality programs for children
• Assist the Centre Director in the day to day operations of the Centre as directed
• Liaise effectively with parents and other staff
• Monitor and provide an appropriate level of supervision and on the job training for Educators within the nominated area of supervision

What you’ll bring

• Hold a Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent) or be actively studying towards
• Demonstrated experience in an Early Childhood Education setting
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
• A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
